Cheese Foam Oolong Song (芝士奶盖乌龙宋) is a Simplified Chinese display font that sits somewhere between the relaxed, bouncy feel of a rounded typeface and the refined, literary air of a Song (serif) typeface. The strokes carry soft, rounded terminals paired with the structured, book-like proportions of Song serifs, landing on a look that feels both playful and a little bit elegant — like a menu board that still wants to look put together.

It’s built specifically with drink and dessert branding in mind: think tea shop and bakery product names, packaging, menu boards, cup labels, mini-program ordering pages, and social media headlines. Because the strokes are thick and the character faces run full, it’s a display typeface through and through — it’s not meant for long paragraphs of body text, where it would blur at small sizes. The font is derived from Source Han Serif (思源宋体) and Shiwei Sijichun (狮尾四季春), with some stylistic reference to 械黑GB, and is released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
