Fancy Free Font 1 – Hand-Drawn Style (字言字型免費中文字體1 – 手繪體) is a free typeface brought to you by cjkFonts, as a gift to the typography community. It is a typeface set in traditional Chinese characters that brings a playful hand-drawn, doodle-inspired aesthetic while maintaining a structured and readable form. This font, blends the stroke forms of Song Ti (宋體 or Serif) with the skeletal structure of Kai Ti (楷體 or Regular Script), producing a unique and distinctive look. The Latin characters feature the same hand-drawn style with carefully crafted kerning pairs, and the numerals are made monospaced for alignment consistency. Besides that, the team also made deliberate decisions in some character forms that favors recognizability.
